What is happening?

WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991 

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND CLEARWAY ORDER Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an order the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding or stopping in that length of: • Snowdon Way, Willenhall that is situated from its junction with Coppice Farm Way to its junction with Nevis Grove. • Margam Way, Bloxwich that is situated from its junction with Margam Crescent to its junction with Cresswell Crescent. • A4038 Darlaston Road, Walsall that is situated from its junction with Bentley Mill Way to its junction with Sheridan Street. Reason for order: Carriageway repairs. Works on behalf of: Walsall MBC (Maintenance). The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 30 April 2024 with works expected to take place from 30 April (Snowdon Way), 2 May (Margam Way) and 7 May (A4038 Darlaston Road). It is anticipated that the work will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signs will be erected on site indicating when the no stopping restriction will be in force and signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is the earlier.
