Temporary Closure of Riverside
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Riverside - from the junction with Glastonbury Road to the junction with Shepherds Drove. A total distance of 790 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out works on underground structure.
The Order becomes effective on 18th April 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd April 2024 and last until 25th April 2024 between the hours of 10:30 -16:30 for a total of 4 days.
