Bushbury Lane, Wolverhampton - Temporary Road Closure

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BUSHBURY LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Bushbury Lane in both directions from its junction with Ripon Road to the junction with Shaw Road. Ripon Road junction to remain open. Access to Shaw Road maintained. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 29 April 2024 until 10 May 2024. The diversion route is: Stafford Road, Three Tuns Lane, Elston Hall Lane and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate drainage works under a Section 50 licence for Modwen Homes.
