have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that
length of the filter lane from High Road on to Sandford Road
at Balby in the City of Doncaster District and prohibit the left
turn manoeuvre from High Road as described in the Schedule
to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the

and the workforce whilst works to cycleway construction
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles for
vehicles over 7.5 T only, affected by the Order - Balby Road,
Cross Street, Tickhill Road, Sandford Road.

Balby in a south westerly direction for a distance of
50 meters.
2) Prohibit the left turn manoeuvre from High Road Balby, on
to Sandford Road for vehicles in excess of a 7.5T Weight limit.
Dates and Times
19:00hrs 22nd April 2024 until 06:00hrs 24th May 2024.
Night time closures only between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st May 2024.

(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2018
(AMENDMENT NO.) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following length of road:-
Weston Road, Balby
South side
From a point 12 metres west of its junction with the western
kerb line of Goldsmith Road for a distance of 55 metres in an
easterly direction.
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and
unloading goods and in connection with building industrial or
demolition operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic,
the maintenance of the roads and the services therein in
pursuance of statutory powers or duties, for the collection and
delivery of postal packets or if it is a vehicle being operated
by or on behalf of the South Yorkshire Safety Camera
Partnerships while carrying out roadside monitoring or
enforcement operations. The usual exceptions for disabled
persons vehicles will also apply.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing
the restricted road and a statement of the Councils reasons
for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the
Council Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the
hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster
