What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNNAMED SLIP ROAD BETWEEN A38 AND BIRCHWOOD LANE, SOUTH NORMANTON
WHEN: 23 April to 24 April 2024 (between
20:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Unnamed Slip Road between A38
and Birchwood Lane, South Normanton.
REASON: To facilitate cyclic maintenance on
the A38.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Birchwood Ln,
Clover Nook Rd, Bramble Way, A38 West,
Nottingham Rd, Abbott Rd, A38.
A38 East, M1 Jct. 28, A38 West, Bramble Way,
Clover Nook Rd, Birchwood Ln.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any
inconvenience caused while work takes place.

Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
