Market Place - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MARKET PLACE, RIPLEY
WHEN: 23 April to 24 April 2024 (between 19:00 to 23:59)
WHERE: Market Place, Ripley between its Jct. with Cromford Road and the entrance to The Market Place Car Park.
REASON: To facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cromford Rd, High St, Church St, Chapel St, Nottingham Rd, Grosvenor Rd, Derby Rd, Elms Ave, Laurel Ave, Slack Ln, School Ln, Shirley Rd and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
