What is happening?

Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion Order Highways Act 1980 The North Yorkshire Council Public Bridleways 15.44/3, 15.44/5 & Public Footpath 15.44/7, Thwaite House, Fountains Earth Diversion Order 2024.

The above Order, made on 09/04/24, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the Public Bridleways & Footpath described below. Public Bridleway 15.44/3 between SE 1023 7650 & SE 1017 7620 will be diverted onto a new line via SE 1023 7648, SE 1024 7630, SE 1026 7621 SE 1019 7619 & SE 1018 7620. Public Bridleway 15.44/5 between SE 1037 7635 & SE 1019 7624 will be diverted onto a new line from SE 1037 7635 to SE 1024 7630 & Public Footpath 15.44/7 between SE 1020 7622 & SE 1032 7611 will be diverted onto a new line from SE 1026 7621 to SE 1032. 7611.

The above Order, made on 09/04/24, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the Public Bridleway described below. Public Bridleway 15.44/3 between SE 1014 7615 & SE 1007 7604 will be diverted onto a new route from SE 1014 7615 to SE 1009 7622 & to SE 1007 7604. A copy of the Orders & the Order maps may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Nidderdale Library, North Yorkshire until 16/05/24. Copies may be purchased from Countryside Access Services, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 03001312131) at a cost of £2 or can be downloaded free from our website
www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. Any representations about or objections to an Order may be sent in writing to Steve Metcalfe at the above address or email CATO@northyorks.gov.uk not later than 16/05/24. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential & may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, The North Yorkshire Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed Orders. If an Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations & objections
