C82 Hedgeley Crossroads To Eglingham Junction - Temporary Road Closure

C82 HEDGELEY CROSSROADS
TO EGLINGHAM JUNCTION EGLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C82 Hedgeley Crossroads To Eglingham Junction for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th May 2024 until the 31st October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 9th May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C82, B6346, A697 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for surface dressing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
