U3138 TURNER STREET AMBLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3138 Turner Street Amble from its junction with Bridge Street heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd April 2024 until the 3rd May 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd April 2024 until the 24th April 2024 between 08:30 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 3rd May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Turner Street, Bridge Street, George Street, Lawson Street Amble.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to carry out CCTV cleansing and survey works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
