U4059 Hillside Road - Temporary Road Closure

U4059 HILLSIDE ROAD WEST ROTHBURY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U4059 Hillside Road West Rothbury from outside the front of West Rigg heading in a westerly direction for a length of 55 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th May 2024 until the 10th May 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 8th May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00; however, the order will remain in place until 10th May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Gravelly Bank, High Street and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by USL on behalf of Openreach to replace a telegraph pole.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
