What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
U3030 LOWBUSTON TO BUSTON BARNS WARKWORTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3030 Lowbuston To Buston Barns from its junction with the U3029 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 8 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th April 2024 until the 21st April 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th April 2024 until the 21st April 2024 between 23:00 hours until 07:00 hours during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U3029, C95, U3030 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Core Highways on behalf of Network Rail to carry out vegetation removal. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
