Chesterfield Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHESTERFIELD ROAD, UNSTONE
WHEN: 24 April to 30 September 2024 (any 10 days within the specified period)
WHERE: Chesterfield Road, Unstone from its Jct. with Cemetery Road for a distance of 850m in a south easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway surface dressing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6057 (from point of closure), A61 Unstone / Dronfield Bypass, Bowshaw Interchange, B6057 through Dronfield (to point of closure) & vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
