What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (THE CRESCENT, BUXTON)
(ONE WAY (EXCEPT CYCLES)) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that, on Thursday the 11th April 2024 Derbyshire
County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
The Order will come into operation on Monday the 22nd April 2024 and its
effect is:
TO INTRODUCE A ONE WAY SYSTEM OF TRAFFIC FOR MOTOR
VEHICLES ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTH OF ROAD:
The Crescent, Buxton
From its junction with The Square in a north-easterly direction to its junction with the Quadrant.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the
Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices
known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock between 9am and 5pm on each day from Monday to Friday and on request by emailing
Place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order
is made until 23rd May 2024.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any
provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of
The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied
with may, within 6 weeks from the 11th April 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
