B6343 HARTBURN TO MITFORD, HARTBURN
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in the County of Northumberland.
B6343 Scots Gap To Hartburn from its junction with the C157 heading east for a length of 4010 metres.
B6343 Hartburn Village for its entire length.
B6343 Hartburn to Mitford from B6343 Hartburn Village heading east for a length of 80 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th April 2024 until the 31st October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 30th April 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6343, C147, C145, B6342, C161 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for surface dressing and associated works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
