NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Shrigley Road South, Poynton with Worth
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Shrigley Road South, Poynton with Worth – From the junction of Sheldon Road to Brookbank House.
The alternative route will be via Shrigley Road South, Coppice Road, Waterloo Road, Dickens Lane, Moggie Lane, Skellorn Green Lane, Cawley Lane, Roundy Lane, Springbank Lane, Brookledge Lane, Shrigley Road.
This order will come into operation on Tuesday 7 May 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Saturday 18 May 2024.
