(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN STANE CLOSE, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Stane Close, Bishops Stortford from its junction with B1004 Rye Street south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A1250 THE CAUSEWAY, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A1250 The Causeway, Bishops Stortford from its junction with the A1059 Dane Street/A1250 Hockerill Street roundabout north westwards to its junction with the A1250 Link Road/Bridge Street roundabout, a distance of approximately 205m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via A1250 (Hockerill Street/Dunmow Road), A120 (unnamed road/Bishops Stortford Bypass) and A1250 (Hadham Road/Link Road). ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on
both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
