Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Traffic Order - Clarendon Place, Kemptown, Brighton

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 17 April 2024 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

(a) The temporary closure of Claredon Place, Kemptown, Brighton, from its junction with College Place, in a westerly direction for approximately 20 metres.

(b) The temporary suspension of the 3 parking bays, and introduction of no waiting at any time, on Clarendon Place, adjacent to Danny Sheldon House.

2. The Order is necessary to allow building development works to take place.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4. This Order comes into force on 17 April 2024 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 30 July 2025.
