THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TERRY YARDLEY WAY, LING ROAD, ALLENDALE ROAD, MAIN STREET, CARNATION ROAD – LOUGHBOROUGH 
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 22/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 18 months. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Infrastructure Gateway Ltd, in connection with the Miller Homes Development, safely undertake drainage works, gas and electric connection works, any other various Utility works and Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion routes will be signed on site.

SCHEDULE 1
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
Terry Yardley Way – between One-Ash Roundabout (Quorn) & Allendale Rd Roundabout. Ling Rd – in both directions, between Allendale Rd Roundabout & Park Rd Roundabout. Allendale Rd – at its junction with Terry Yardley Way Roundabout. Carnation Rd – at its junction with Terry Yardley Way Roundabout. Main St (Woodthorpe) – between the access to the new development and Terry Yardley Way Roundabout.
