Stanhope Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Bridge Reconstruction Works

What is happening?

THE HARINGEY (STANHOPE ROAD N6-TTMO23) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Haringey intend to make the above Temporary Traffic Order under S14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as described below:-

STANHOPE ROAD N6

Reason for 14(1) Order – Replacement of Stanhope Road Bridge (demolition of existing and construction of new)

Operational dates

General Effect of Order

Mon 29th April 2024 to Sunday 1st December 2024

Time: 24hrs

Indicative dates for Phase 1 are from 6th May for approximately 6 weeks

Indicative dates for Phase 2 are from mid-October for approximately 2 weeks

The restrictions will be introduced and signed accordingly on site

Phase 1:

  1. Closure of Stanhope Road N6, from its junction with Wychwood End to its junction with Avenue Road.
  2. Access to Parkgate Mews will be maintained at all times.

Phase 2:

  • Closure of Stanhope Road N6, from its junction with Wychwood End to its junction with Avenue Road.
    1. Access to Parkgate Mews will be maintained at all times.

      The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by traffic signs. For road closures, alternative routes will be directed by traffic signs.
