THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL

(BALMUILDY ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

On the 16 April 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council, made the above-named Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to be observed by vehicles between 10:00 hours and 15:45 hours on Sunday, 28 April 2024 for reasons of public safety and convenience.

ROAD CLOSURE

Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs between Stirling Drive and the East Dunbartonshire Council/Glasgow City Council Boundary. Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in event activities and those vehicles requiring access to properties or land adjacent to the closed section of road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

The alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Balmuildy Road, Hilton Road, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, the A807 Torrance Road, the A807 Balmore Road, the A879 Balmore Road, and these routes will be sign posted.
