What is happening?
Suffolk County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: Section 14
Temporary Closure Of Part Of Footpath 3, Leiston
Suffolk County Council has made an order dosing Footpath 3, Leiston from Saxmundham Road for 190 metres northbound to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/04/2024 -06705/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Temporary Closure Of Part Of Footpaths 38, 39 And 40, Stutton
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 38, Stutton from Alton Hall Lane to Footpath 39, Footpath 39, Stutton and Footpath 40, Stutton to facilitate safety during resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/04/2024 -10/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer If extended by the Minister). Temporary Closure Of Part Of The B1067 Bramford Road, Ipswich
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1067 Bramford Road, Ipswich from Spa exit to number 704 to facilitate a bridge inspection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Ship Lane, Fitzgerald Road, The Street, Loraine Way. Bramford Road, High Street, Hadleigh Road, Road from A134 Newton to A1214 Ipswich, London Road, Yarmouth Road, Bramford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 8pm on 16704/2024 - 6am on 17/04/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure Of Part Of The C446 Lower Road, Coddenham
Suffolk County Council has made an Order Closing The C446 Lower Road, Coddenham from the junction with Green Hill for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Crown Comer, High Street, Lower Road, Helmingham Road, Road from the U4707 to the U4729, Ipswich Road, Gosbeck Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on 16704/2024 from 9am until 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Temporary Speed Restriction On The A1304 Barbara Stradbr0ke Avenue, Newmarket
To enable enhanced traffic flow and public safety during the Newmarket Racecourse Events, Suffolk County Council has made an order imposing a 40mph temporary speed restriction on the A1304 Barbara Sfradbroke Avenue, Newmarket from the county boundary north eastwards to the existing 40mph speed limit. Other measures may be introduced if necessary. It is intended that these restrictions will operate on the dates shown below, but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Suffolk County Council (Parish Of Bramford) (Footpath 34) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
This order, which came into effect 11/03/2024 closing Footpath 34, Bramford, has been extended in force by the Minister until 01/03/2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. This closure is required in the interests of public safety whilst development works continue. If the order had not been extended it would have ceased to be in force on 10/09/2024.
