Richmond Wood Road, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
Bournemouth, Christchurch And Poole Council Richmond Wood Road, Bournemouth -Gas Replacement Works Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT AND WHERE:
- Richmond Wood Road, closed to all vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time, from its junction with Charminster Road to the junction of Howard Road
- Western side of Charminster Road, adjacent to property nos. 213-219 (suspension of Limited Waiting Bays - entire length)
WHY:
To enable SGN to carry out gas replacement worksWHEN: Anticipated dates: 13th May 2024 until 5th July 2024
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via Howard Road, Richmond Park Avenue and Charminster Road

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
