The Council Has Made
(Public Footpath No. 16/4, Iver) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 made on 26 May 2022, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 30 April 2025. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the entire length of Public Footpath No. 16/4, Iver, whilst works to take place to reinstate the bridge. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via the towpath along the Grand Union Canal to Thorney Lane North and north along the public highway to Marina Way to re-join the public footpath.
(Public Bridleway No32, Parish Of Iver) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No.32, Iver which commences 230M south west from the junction with Denham Road and continues for a distance of approximately 150M east. The closure is required (whilst works are being carried out for electrical infrastructure. As previously advertised on 22 March 2024 there is no suitable alternative route for users affected by the closure. The Order come into operation on 1st April 2024 as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
