The Isle of Wight Council (Sandrock Road, Niton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2024 - the one-way restriction will be revoked along Sandrock Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
The Isle of Wight Council (Lind Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2024 - a no waiting at any time parking restriction will be introduced along Lind Street, on both sides, between its junctions with West Street and St Thomas Street.
Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders:-
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 19 April 2024 and Friday 31 May 2024 the following roads will be affected, between either 0600 hours to 1800 hours, or, between 1800 hours to 0600 hours, for approximately one to three days or nights during this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable support during the next planned programme of carriageway maintenance, carriageway surfacing, lining works and installation of reflective studs, and any required works to be completed. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, maintenance, rectification, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to introduce the restriction on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:
The Isle of Wight Council (Whippingham Road, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 30mph Restriction) Order No 1 2024 - a temporary 30mph speed limit restriction be introduced along Whippingham Road between Its junctions with Racecourse, Newport, and Saunders Way, East Cowes. The restriction Is being Introduced on the grounds of road safety to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 19 April 2024 and Friday 03 May 2024 the following roads will be closed for one night between 1930 and 0600 hours, for approximately one night within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance and Traffic Signal Loop Cutting Works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where Indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction and resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. The Isle of Wight Council (Drill Hall Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Left-Hand Turn) Order No 1 2024 - Vehicles are prohibited from turning left from Drill Hall Lane into High Street, Newport the alternative route will be signposted locally.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0900 on Wednesday 17 April 2024 and 0600 hours on Saturday 20 April 2024, and between approx. 1900 hours Sunday 21 April 2024 and 1800 hours and Tuesday 23 April 2024, will temporarily close the following roads to through traffic, including all vehicles, equestrians and pedestrians, a) Culver Parade, between Its junction with Crescent Road and Its junction with Yaverland Road; b) Yaverland Road, between Its junction with Culver Parade and its junction with Meadow Way c) Fort Street, between Its junctions with Crescent Road and its junction with Culver Parade and d) Kennedy Way, for its entire length. The Isle of Wight Council (Culver Parade, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2024
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0600 hours on Wednesday 17 April 2024 until 2200 hours on Wednesday 24 April 2024, a 'No Waiting at Any Time' parking restriction will be introduced along Culver Parade, Sandown, on the south-east side, between Its junction with Crescent Road and a point 95 metres north-east of its junction with Fort Street. The restriction Is required to ensure there are no parked vehicles during the Sandown Sprint Event. Exact dates, durations will be communicated via advanced warning signs.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0600 hours on Saturday 20 April 2024 until 1900 hours on Sunday 21 April 2024, will temporarily close the following roads to through traffic, Including all vehicles, equestrians and pedestrians a) Culver Parade, between Its junction with Crescent Road and Its junction with Yaverland Road; b) Yaverland Road, between its junction with Culver Parade and its junction with Meadow Way; c) Fort Street, between its junction with Crescent Road and its junction with Culver Parade and d) Kennedy Way, for its entire length.
