(Colchester Road, Great Oakley)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Great Oakley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Stonehall Lane for a distance of approximately 170m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MT00110228397 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Tendring Road, Stones Green Road, Clacton Road, Parsonage Lane, Wolves Hall Lane, Stonehall Lane and vice versa (with access only into Colchester Road).
The Order will come into effect on 19th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Colchester Road, Wix)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Wix in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 40m south west of its junction with Swedish Estate for a distance of approximately 85m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd April 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WF0FT45V - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole renewal works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Harwich Road, A120, Colchester Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 5th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hordle Street, Dovercourt)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hordle Street, Dovercourt in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Kingsway to its junction with Empire Road a distance of approximately 70m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd April 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MT002DS0056707 -Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water. No alternative route is available for this closure.

(Spinnels Lane, Wix)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spinnels Lane, Wix in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Bradfield Road for a distance of approximately 365m in an easterly then northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd April 2024 for 24 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A2101S50-2119B-02 - SmOp CT Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electricity cables and duct installation works are undertaken by SmOp CT Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Bradfield Road, Spinnels Lane, Willow Hall Lane, Harwich Road, Spinnels Hill, Lonbarn Hill, The Street, Wix Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 5th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
