What is happening?

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Exelby to Westfield Lane, Exelby, Order 2024 No 108.
We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Exelby to Westfield Lane, Exelby due to Northern Power Grid new connection works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 15/04/24 until 03/05/24 inclusive, however the maximum duration of this Order will be for 15/04/24 until 30/06/24. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs and a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary 40 Mph Speed Restriction, Hunton Road, South of Scotton, Order 2024 No 114.
We intend to make this Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 40mph along an approximate 350 metres length of Hunton Road south of Scotton (leading northwards from its junction with Hawkswell Lane) due to development works on adjacent land. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 01/05/24 until 31/10/25 inclusive. The restriction will be put into effect by notices and signs. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Haig Road - Catterick Garrison, Order 2024 No 119.
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Haig Road between its junction with Slim Road and French Road due to footway maintenance works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 10/06/24 until 12/07/24 inclusive however the maximum duration of this Order will be from 01/05/24 until 31/03/25. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs and a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary 30 Mph Speed Restriction, Cleasby Road - Stapleton, Order 2024 No 121.
We intend to make this Order that will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 Mph along Cleasby Road (from its junction with Cleasby Lane north westwards for an approximate distance of 1000 metres) due to footway maintenance works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 27/05/24 until 07/06/24 inclusive however the maximum duration of this Order will be from 01 /05/24 until 31 /03/25. Temporary 30 Mph Speed Restriction, B6271 - West of Scorton, Order 2024 No 122.
We intend to make this Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 Mph along the B6271 to the west of Scorton (from its junction with the B6271 Bolton Road westwards to its junction with the vehicular access to the 'Tancred Waste Transfer Station') due to footway maintenance works.
It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 06/05/24 until 25/05/24 inclusive however the maximum duration of this Order will be from 01/05/24 until 31/03/25. The extent of the restriction will be put into effect by notices and signs. Temporary 30 Mph Speed Restriction, A6136 CATTERICK ROAD - BROUGH WITH ST GILES, Order 2024 No 125.
We intend to make this Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 Mph along a section of the A6136 Catterick Road at Brough With St Giles due to construction works on a site adjacent to the road. The prohibition will apply from the end of the permanent 30 Mph prohibition which is located to the east of the roundabout at the junction of the A6136 with Cookson Way eastwards to a point approximately 50 metres east of its junction with the road leading northwards to 'St Giles Farm'. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 29/04/24 until 26/12/25 inclusive.The extent of the restriction will be put into effect by notices and signs. Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 The North Yorkshire Council Public Footpaths No.20.35/3 & 20.35/12 Hipswell Hall Farm and Hipswell Mill, Diversion Order 2024.
The above Order, made on 19/03/2024 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpaths described below and modify the District of Richmondsnire (outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park) Definitive Map and Statement accordingly. Footpath No.20.35/3 running north from GR SE 1883 9835 to GR SE 1883 9855 will be diverted onto a new line running north-west from the junction with FP No.20.35/12 at GR SE 1894 9844 along the field edge to GR SE 1890 9856 then west to GR SE 1883 9855.
Footpath No.20.35/12 running north-east through Hipswell Mill from GR SE 1883 9835 to GR SE 1895 9843 will be diverted onto a new line between the same end points but running along the edge of the field immediately north of the property .Footpath No.20.35/12 running north-east across an arable field from GR SE 1898 9844 to GR SE 1915 9870 will be diverted onto a new line between the same end points but following the field edge east then north. A copy of the Order and Order Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Catterick Community Library, North Yorkshire until 10/05/24. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Beth Brown at the above address to arrive not later than 10/05/2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, The North Yorkshire Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
