Victoria Road West - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?

(REAR 52-86 VICTORIA ROAD WEST, THORNTON CLEVELEYS, WYRE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Order.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Rear 52-86 Victoria Road West from the rear of 52 Victoria Road West to the rear of 64 Victoria Road West.
2. Nothing in this Order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative daily from 0800 hours to 1800 hours on Monday 22nd April 2024 until Friday 26th April 2024 or until completion of the works within this period. Access will be maintained whenever and wherever possible.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:
Runnymede Avenue – Bispham Road
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow overlay of the fibre network to be carried out by Wingnut Utilities.
