What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

U50K BANCHORY – TEMPORARY CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (U50k, Crathes, Banchory – 15.04.24) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2024” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 15.04.24 for 6 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the U50k, Crathes, Banchory from the junction with the A93 to the slip road leading to Ley Wood.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety to allow for the installation of surface water drainage. An alternative route is available via the A93 (Banchory), C28k (Banchory), U50k (Banchory) and vice versa.
