Green Recovery Project - Road Closure to Enable Severn Trent Water to Carry Out Green Scheme Recovery Works

MANSFIELD TOWN)
(TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF
DRIVING) ORDER
2024(M24-050)
NOTICE IS HEREBY
GIVEN that the
Nottinghamshire County
Council has made an
Order, under Section
14(1) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act
1984, as amended,
in respect of roads at
Mansfield Town in the
District of Mansfield.
The effects of the
Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited
from proceeding in the
following length of road:
a. Fairfield Drive - from
a point 120 metres in an
easterly direction from its
junction with Violet Hill
Access Road to a point
30 metres in an easterly
direction.
b. Lingfield Close -
from a point 90 metres in
an easterly then southerly
direction from its junction
with Big Barn Lane to
a point 20 metres in a
southerly direction.
c. Liber Close - from its
junction with Pump Hollow
Road in a southerly
direction for a distance of
20 metres.
d. Coronation Drive
- from its junction with
Olive Grove to its junction
with Stuart Avenue.
2. All existing permanent
restrictions will be
temporarily suspended as
required.
3. The restrictions
specified above shall
only be in effect when
the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the
prohibitions respecting
the above road or roads
will apply as follows:
Fairfield Drive -
From 07:30 hours on
Monday 15th April 2024
until 17:30 hours on
Friday 10th May 2024
Lingfield Close -
From 07:30 hours on
Monday 29th April 2024
until 07:30 hours on
Friday 24th May 2024
Liber Close -
From 07:30 hours on
Tuesday 7th May 2024
until 17:30 hours on
Friday 12th July 2024
Coronation Drive -
From 07:30 hours on
Monday 20th May 2024
until 17:30 hours on
Friday 14th June 2024
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY
FURTHER GIVEN that
during the period of
restriction the alternative
route available will be:
Liber Close - Olive Grove
- Tudor Avenue, Stuart
Avenue and vice versa.
Coronation Drive -
Stuart Avenue - Tudor
Avenue - Olive Grove
and vice versa.
The Order will come
into force on Monday
15th April 2024 and
any prohibition in it shall
apply on that day and any
subsequent day when
necessary to enable
works to be carried
out. The Order shall
continue in force until
the works are completed
(within a maximum
period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required
to enable Severn Trent
Water to carry out green
scheme recovery works;
