NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Various Roads in Knutsford & Wilmslow

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Marbury Road, Wilmslow - For the full extent.

Dean Drive, Wilmslow - For the full extent.

Manchester Road, Wilmslow - For the full extent.

Dean Row Road, Wilmslow - For the full extent.

Stanneylands Road, Wilmslow - For the full extent.

Hawthorn Road, Plumley - For the full extent.

Oakfield Road, Plumley - For the full extent.

Goldborne Lane, High Legh - For the full extent.

Manchester Road, Handforth - For the full extent.

Wilmslow Road, Handforth - For the full extent

This order will come into operation on Friday 12 April 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 10 May 2024.

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL - (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (VARIOUS ROADS) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.14) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Section 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 38, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53 and 61 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty with Section 122 and 124 of the said Act.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to:

Amend the Cheshire East Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) (Various Roads) (Consolidation) Order 2022 by:

Introducing the No Waiting at Any Time prohibition as outlined in Schedule 1 below and by replacing Map Tiles No. AO137 in the Consolidation Order schedules. The restrictions imposed by this proposed Order shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any restrictions or requirements imposed by any regulations made or having effect as if made under the Act or by or under any other enactment.

SCHEDULE 1 - (Introduction of No Waiting at Any Time)

Meadow Brow, Alderley Edge (North side) - From a point 21.3 metres east of the projected eastern kerb line of Eaton Lane, for a distance of 4 metres in an easterly direction.

Meadow Brow, Alderley Edge (South side) - From a point 20.7 metres east of the projected eastern kerb line of Eaton Lane, for a distance of 6 metres in an easterly direction.

Eaton Drive, Alderley Edge (North side) - From a point 39.8 metres north-west of the projected northern kerb line of Meadow Brow, for a distance of 6 metres in a westerly direction.
