NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
PTRO 779 - QUEENSWAY (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the order will be to introduce a reduced speed limit on Queensway, Winsford. Full details showing the proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a map showing the affected area; the Council's statement of reasons for making the order and a copy of this notice, may be examined. If people wish to view further details of the PTRO they should email the area highways team at highways@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk.
All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made, to the undersigned quoting reference PTRO 779 by 3 May 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the order will be to introduce a reduced speed limit on Eddisbury Hill, Delamere. Full details showing the proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a map showing the affected area; the Council's statement of reasons for making the order and a copy of this notice, may be examined. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TRO 7836 Church Street Davenham in Davenham, Moulton & Kingsmead Ward
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Davenham, Moulton & Kingsmead Ward to enable Installation of new service works to be carried out by Scottish Power.
Church Street - ** Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.
The Order will come into force on 6th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 8 days to complete.
Alternative routes for through traffic
- Traffic should proceed via Church Street, London Road, Davenham Roundabout, Shurlach Road, Rudheath Roundabout, King Street Southbound, Morrisons Roundabout, King Street Dual Southbound, King Street Dual Northbound, King Street, Davenham Road, Shipbrook Road.TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TTRO 7837 Shady Brook Lane in Weaver & Cuddington Ward
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Weaver & Cuddington Ward to enable Installation of ducting works to be carried out by Bethells.
Shady Brook Lane, Well Lane, Sandy Lane
- ** Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.The Order will come into force on 7th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 15 days weeks to complete.
