A1068 FISHER LANE U9557 NELSON WAY CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in Cramlington in the County of Northumberland.
A1068 Fisher Lane north bound carriageway from its junction with the A1172 heading north for a distance of 1745 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 2nd May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2024.
U9557 Nelson Way from its junction with the A1068 Fisher Lane southbound carriageway heading east for a distance of 125 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A192, A1171, C420, A1172 and vice versa.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd May 2024 until the 31st October 2024.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout carriageway surfacing, patching and civils work. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
