Trawden Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH 13-7-FP211 TRAWDEN, PENDLE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for Transport has agreed to the above Order, which was due to expire on the 1st April, 2024, remaining in force until the 1st October, 2024, or until the works are completed within this period. The effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding over that length of the Public Footpath, indicated below:-
That part of Public Footpath 13-7-FP211 Trawden, Pendle from Point A (SD 9309 -3971) in a generally southerly direction for approximately 90 metres to Point B (SD 9311 3963
The temporary closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public
Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpath, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the footpath, will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the order shall apply to emergency service vehicles or to those undertaking any necessary works
