A192 ASTLEY ROAD SEATON DELAVAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A192 Astley Road Seaton Delaval from its junction with Double Row heading eastwards for a distance of 200 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th April 2024 until the 30th June 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 29th April 2024 until the 10th May 2024 between the hours of 23:50 until 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th June 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A192, A1061, A193, A190 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Morgan Sindall to carry out surfacing, white lining duct crossing highway completion works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
