What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (as amended)

BROOK AVENUE HIGHWAYS RESURFACING (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to enable highway resurfacing works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner in the road listed in the Schedule to this Notice, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in the road or length of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, when and where appropriate signs are being displayed. Signage would be placed in advance of any works in the road or length of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, which would give more specific details of the prohibitions, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary.

Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting and loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply would be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicle Regulations 1986.

The Order would come into operation on 22nd April 2024 with the works planned to take place according to the Schedule to this Notice. The Order would remain in force until 26th April 2024.
