What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
(CEMETERY ROAD, HECKMONDWIKE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cemetery Road, Heckmondwike from its junction with Claremont Road to its junction with Bath Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Cemetery Road, Longfield Road, Chapel Lane, High Street, Bath Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday, 1st May 2024 between
09:30 - 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CHAPEL LANE/TRUEMAN
AVENUE, HECKMONDWIKE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Heckmondwike:Road Closure
Chapel Lane - from a point outside property no. 81 to a point outside property no. 85 Point Closure
Trueman Avenue - at its junction with Chapel Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-
Chapel Lane - via Chapel Lane, High Street, Bath Road, Cemetery Road, Longfield Road and vice versa;
Trueman Avenue - via Trueman Avenue, Hollinbank Lane, Batley Road, High Street, Chapel Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 30th April 2024 between 09:30 - 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BRADFORD ROAD, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bradford Road, Dewsbury from its junction with Greaves Road to its junction with Dewsbury Ring Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-
Diversion 1 - via Bradford Road,
Huddersfield Road, Leeds Road, Frost
Hill, Flush, Westgate, High Street, Halifax Road, Dewsbury Ring Road;
Diversion 2 - via Dewsbury Ring Road,
Rishworth Road, Vicarage Road, Aldams Road, Webster Hill, Wellington Road West, Dewsbury Ring Road, Aldams Road, Dated this 11 April 2024.
Halifax Road, High Street, Westgate, Flush, Frost Hill, Leeds Road, Huddersfield Road, Bradford Road.
It is intended that the closure will
commence on Wednesday, 1st May 2024 and remain in force until 2nd May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(GREAVES ROAD, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Greaves Road, Dewsbury from its junction with Kilburn Lane to its junction with Bradford Street PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Greaves Road, Crackenedge Lane, Jack Lane, Bradford Road and vice versa.
To facilitate the diversionary route the existing One Way Order restrictions on Greaves Road which relate to this closure only will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the closure (i.e. traffic will be two way from Kilburn Lane to Bradford Road).
It is intended that the closure will
commence on Thursday, 2nd May 2024 and remain in force until 3rd May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HALIFAX ROAD, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Halifax Road, Dewsbury from its junction with Eightlands Green to its junction
with Dewsbury Ring Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dewsbury Ring Road, Bradford Road, Huddersfield Road, Leeds Road, Frost Hill, Flush, Westgate, High Street, Halifax Road. It is intended that the closure will commence at 23:00 hours on Monday, 29th April 2024 and remain in force until 06:00 hours on 1st May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BRADFORD ROAD, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the full length of slip road from Chainbar Roundabout onto Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Whitehall Road, Huddersfield Road, Odsal Interchange, Cleckheaton Road, Manchester Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 15th April 2024 and remain in force until 26th April 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
