Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (C2011 Village Street, Harvington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2011 Village Street from its junction with U44012 Hughes Lane to its junction with U44009 Grange Lane.
Reason: Hydrant rebuild by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2011 Village Street, B4088 Evesham Road, C2295 Harvington Lane, C2295 Abbots Salford Road, C2011 Crest Hill and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 15 April 2024.
(B4084 Evesham Road, Wick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4084 Evesham Road from its junction with C2223 Bricklehampton to B4084 Evesham Road to its junction with C2124 Wick Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4084 Evesham Road, B4084 Avon Bank, B4084 Bridge Street, B4084 High Street, A4104 Station Road, B4083 Wyre Road, A4104 Link Road/Wyre Road Industrial Estate Roundabout, A44 Wyre Piddle Bypass, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Worcester Road, B4624 Worcester Road, A4184 High Street, A4184 Abbey Road, B4084 Pershore Road, B4084 Main Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (19:30 - 06:00) between 6 May 2024 and 17 May 2024.
(U44713 New Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U44713 New Road from its junction with B4084 Pershore Road to its junction with U44739 Lunns Gardens.
Reason: Installation of Toucan Crossing on Pershore Road by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U44713 New Road, U44712 Peewit Road, B4084 Pershore Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 46 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 15 April 2024.
(U44517 Oat Street, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester (Borough Evesham) (Traffic Regulation) Order 1970 (Temporary Suspension (part)) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44517 Oat Street from its junction with U44519 Mill Street to its junction with A4184 High Street and to temporarily part suspend The County of Worcester (Borough Evesham) (Traffic Regulation) Order 1970 to allow two-way traffic.
Reason: New/Replacement gas main by Wales and West Utilities.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A4184 High Street, A4184 Vine Street, A4184 High Street, A4184 Vine Street, A4184 Abbey Road, B4035 Waterside, U44521 Bridge Street, U44519 Mill Street, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days (24hrs). Commencing: 7 May 2024.
(U45208 Clay field Road, Bretforton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U45208 Clayfield Road from its junction with B4085 Blackminster to its junction with U45208 Clayfield Road.
Reason: Level crossing railway maintenance by Network Rail.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2047 Station Road, B4085 Blackminster and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (23:00 to 05:00). Commencing: 7 May 2024.
(U44527 Northwick Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44527 Northwick Road from its junction with B4035 Port Street to its junction with U44531 North Road.
Reason: New/replacement gas main by Wales & West Utilities.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4035 Port Street, U44533 Kings Road, U44531 North Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 102 days (24hrs). Commencing: 7 May 2024.
