ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
(FOOTPATH HALIFAX 731, COPLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by BAM Nuttall Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Halifax 731 from the railway viaduct (adjacent to Copley Cricket Club) to St Stephen’s Street for a distance of approximately 90 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. For alternative route see map on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th September 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(LUMBUTTS ROAD, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Cheshire Maintenance & Developments Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lumbutts Road outside No. 8 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd May 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(NEWLANDS ROAD, WARLEY)
(NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by EON Lighting and Grid intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Warley Road from its junction with Workhouse Lane to Roils Head Road for a distance of approximately 1200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Workhouse Lane, Warley Town Lane, Stock Lane, Roils Head Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st May 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:30 & 15:30.
(FOOTPATH BRIGHOUSE 104 & BRIGHOUSE 123)
(NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Equans Regeneration Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Brighouse 104 & 123 from Shannon Road to Mount Lane for a distance of approximately 365 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath.
The alternative route for pedestrians as displayed on site. Vehicle access to properties on Mount Pleasant will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st May 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 6/18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(FOOTPATH BRIGHOUSE 105 & BRIGHOUSE 123)
(NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Equans Regeneration Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Brighouse 105 & 123 from end of Spout Hill to junction rear of 32-36 Dewsbury Road and rear of 60 New Hey Road for a distance of approximately 315 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath.
The alternative route for pedestrians as displayed on site. Vehicle access to properties on Mount Pleasant will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st May 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 6/18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(ROCHDALE ROAD, GREETLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Road Traffic Solutions intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rochdale Road from Fox Court to zebra crossing north of junction for a distance of approximately 68 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Stainland Road, Wakefield Road, Wharf Street, Town Hall Street, West Street, A 58 Rochdale Road, Halifax Road, Elland Road, Greetland Road, B6113 Rochdale Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd May 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd May 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00.
