ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

C136B NEW ABERDOUR – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (C136B New Aberdour to Auchentumb Road – 12.04.24) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2024” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 12/04/24 for 10 weeks and will prohibit any person from driving on the C136B New Aberdour to Auchentumb Road from Low Street, New Aberdour to the C143B at Marchlands.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety owing to telecoms works. An alternative route is available via the C136B to A98 at Marchlands, A98 to B9032 at Mid Ardlaw, B9032 to B9031 at Coburty, B9031 via Elphin Street, High Street and Low Street to C136B and vice versa.
