HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON THE SERVICE
ROAD FRONTING NOS.102-58 HIGH STREET, WALTHAM CROSS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of road (“the lengths of Road”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following length of Road, except for access, and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of the length of Road whilst works are in progress:- the service road fronting Nos.102-58 High Street, Waltham Cross from a point in line with the southern boundary of ‘The Moon and Cross PH’ southwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 136 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However, vehicular access for Market Trader’s vehicles and those associated with ‘Waltham Cross Market’ will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. To temporarily suspend the existing loading bay situated on the east side of the service road fronting Nos.102-58 High Street, Waltham Cross from a point in line with the southern boundary of ‘The Moon and Cross PH’ southwards for a distance of approximately 10 metres.
The Order is needed because the relocaton of ‘Waltham Cross Market’ is proposed to be executed on or near the lengths of Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the lengths of Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1368 (UNNAMED ROAD), HARE STREET) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1368 (unnamed road), Hare Street from a point in line with the northern boundary of ‘Bradbury’ south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B1368 (unnamed road/Biggin Hill/London Road/ High Street/Cambridge Road/London Road/High Street/Cambridge Road), B1038 (Royston Road/Barkway Road), A10 (Barkway Street/London Road/ Ermine Street/unnamed road/Buntingford Bypass), B1038 (Baldock Road/High Street/Hare Street Road/unnamed road) and B1368 (unnamed road) or via B1368 (unnamed road), B1038 (unnamed road/Hare Street Road/High Street/ Baldock Road), A10 (Buntingford Bypass/unnamed road/Ermine Street/London Road/Market Hill/Priory Lane), B1038 (Barkway Road/Royston Road) and B1368 (Cambridge Road/High Street/London Road/Cambridge Road/High Street/ London Road/Biggin Hill/unnamed road).
The Order is needed because electric service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SOUTH STREET, STANSTEAD ABBOTS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of South Street, Stanstead Abbots from a point 25m south east of its junction with Orchard Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”).
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because electric service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U42 (unnamed road), Green Tye from its junction with B1004 Great Hadham Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 389m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B1004 Great Hadham Road, Aerodrome Road and 3U42 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WEST STREET, HERTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of West Street, Hertford from a point in line with the western boundary of No.85 West Street north eastwards for a distance of approximately 15m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via West Street, Horns Road, B158 (Bullocks Lane/ Pegs Lane/Hale Road), A414 Gascoyne Way and West Street or via West Street, A414 (Gascoyne Way/Hertingfordbury Road), the A414 Hertingfordbury Road/ A119 Cross Lane roundabout, A414 (Hertingfordbury Way/Gascoyne Way), B158 (Hale Road/Pegs Lane/Bullocks Lane), Horns Road and West Street.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CROMWELL AVENUE AND BURY GREEN ROAD, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Cromwell Avenue, Cheshunt from its junction with Churchgate south westwards to its junction with Lordship Road, a distance of approximately 81m.
An alternative route will be via Churchgate, B156 Goffs Lane, Dark Lane and Cromwell Avenue.
2. that length of Bury Green Road, Cheshunt from its junction with Cromwell Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 35m.
An alternative route will be via Cromwell Avenue, Churchgate, B156 Goffs Lane, Dark Lane and Bury Green Road.
The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BUNTINGFORD AND HUNSDON) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Monks Walk, Buntingford from its westernmost junction with B1038 Baldock Road south westwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 760m.
An alternative route will be via B1038 Baldock Road and Monks Walk.
2. that length of the road fronting Nos.82-86 Monks Walk, Buntingford from its junction with Monks Walk southwards, south westwards, south eastwards and north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Riverside, Buntingford from its junction with Archers south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of B180 (Stanstead Road/High Street), Hunsdon from its junction with Ellison Close north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Hollands Croft, a distance of approximately 630m.
An alternative route will be via B180 (Stanstead Road/Hunsdon Road), B181 (Roydon Road/High Street/Station Road), A1170 (Pepper Hill/Amwell Hill/ London Road), A119 (London Road/Amwell End), B1004 (Bridge Foot/Star Street/Widbury Hill/Ware Road) and B180 (Hunsdon Road/Widford Road).
5. that length of Acorn Street, Hunsdon from its junction with B180 High Street south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Hempstalls Close, a distance of approximately 237m.
An alternative route will be via B180 (High Street/Stanstead Road/Hunsdon Road), B181 Roydon Road, A414 Eastwick Road, Church Lane and Acorn Street.
6. that length of B1038 High Street, Buntingford from its junction with B1038 Baldock Road south eastwards to its junction with B1038 Hare Street Road, a distance of approximately 192m.
An alternative route will be via B1038 Baldock Road, A10 Buntingford Bypass, London Road and Station Road.
7. that length of Station Road, Buntingford from its junction with B1038 Hare Street Road south eastwards to its junction with Downhall Ley, a distance of approximately 178m.
An alternative route will be via B1038 (High Street/Baldock Road), A10 Buntingford Bypass, London Road and Station Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Townshend Street, Hertford from its junction with Railway Street south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Railway Street, Railway Place, A119 Ware Road and Townshend Street.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Downhall Ley, Buntingford from its junction with Station Road south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Bucks Alley, Bayford from its junction with Ashendene Road north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 443m.
An alternative route will be via Ashendene Road, Well Row, Bayford Lane, Broad Green, B158 Lower Hatfield Road, Robins Nest Hill and Bucks Alley.
3. that length of Gauldie Way, Standon from its junction with South Road south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Stanelow Crescent, a distance of approximately 227m.
An alternative route will be via South Road, Aston Road and Stanelow Crescent.
4. that length of Godfries Close, Tewin from its junction with Upper Green Road eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 163m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. that length of Harwood Close, Tewin from its junction with Upper Green Road south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 183m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Pembridge Lane, Brickendon from its junction with Woodhouse Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 500m.
An alternative route will be via Woodhouse Lane, White Stubbs Lane, Cock Lane and Pembridge Lane.
7. that length of A119 Amwell End, Ware from its junction with A119 London Road north eastwards to its junction with Broadmeads, a distance of approximately 66m.
An alternative route will be via A119 London Road, A1170 (Viaduct Road/ Bridge Foot) and A119 Amwell End.
8. that length of Station Road, Ware from its junction with A119 Amwell End South eastwards for a distance of approximately 36m.
An alternative route will be via A119 Amwell End, A119 London Road, A1170 Viaduct Road and Station Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the northbound carriageway of B176 Turners Hill, Cheshunt from its junction with Albury Grove Road south eastwards to its southernmost junction with Lynton Parade Turners Hill, a distance of approximately 111m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B176 Turners Hill, B198 College Road, A10 Great Cambridge Road, A121 Winston Churchill Way and B176 (High Street/ Crossbrook Street/Turners Hill).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

1. the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout, Hoddesdon from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road) north eastwards to its junction with the A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 433m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road), the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
2. the A10 northbound slip road leading from the A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout, Hoddesdon from its junction with the A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout north eastwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 528m.
An alternative route will be via the A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout, A10 (unnamed road), the A10 Turnford Link Road roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
3. the A10 southbound slip road leading onto the A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout, Hoddesdon from its junction with the southbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road) south westwards to its junction with the A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 416m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road), the A10 Turnford Link Road roundabout, A10 (unnamed road) and A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of Britannia Road, Waltham Cross from a point in line with the northern boundary of ‘Victoria House’ south eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m (“the Road”), when signs are in place.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Nutcroft, Datchworth from its northernmost junction with Hawkins Hall Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 96m.
An alternative route will be via Hawkins Hall Lane and Nutcroft.
2. the road fronting Nos.15-25 Nutcroft, Datchworth from its junction with Nutcroft south eastwards and southwards for a distance of approximately 68m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions in parts of Sawbridgeworth as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
