Woodhurst Lane (D424) Oxted Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Woodhurst Lane (D424) Oxted which extends from its junction with Tanhouse Road (D423) to its junction with Burntwood Drive (X10114). Alternative Route – Woodhurst Lane (D424), East Hill (A25), West Hill (A25), Godstone Road (A25), High Street (C84), Oxted, Beadles Lane (C84), Hall Hill (C84), Tanhouse Road (D423) and Woodhurst Lane (D424) or the same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works which is anticipated to be completed within 13 days, between 8:00am and 6:00pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Trumpets Hill Road (D310) Reigate Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Trumpets Hill Road (D310) Reigate which extends from its junction with Wonham Lane (D310) to the northwestern property boundary line of “Old School House”. Alternative Route – Wonham Lane (D310), Sandy Lane (D310), Old Road (D309), Reigate Road (A25), Buckland Road (A25) and Flanchford Road (C58) or the same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 23 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Farm Lane (C56) Ashtead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Farm Lane (C56) Ashtead which extends from its junction with Park Lane (D2628) to its junction with Downs Road (D2251). Alternative Route – Headley Road (C56), Tilley Lane (C56), Clay Lane (C55), Headley Road (C55), A24 By-Pass Road, Leatherhead Road (A24), The Street (A24), Epsom Road (A24), Park Lane (D2628) or the same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:00pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 25 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Woodfield Lane (D2613) Ashtead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the western arm of Woodfield Lane (D2613) Ashtead as extends from its junction with (D2613) Woodfield Lane to its junction with (D2641) St Stephens Avenue. 
Alternative Route – Woodfield Avenue; Craddocks Lane; and Woodfield Avenue. 
The Order is required to allow telecoms utility works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Avonline Network Services within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 4 days between the hours of 8am and 5pm within the 12-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 26 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Copley Close (D1255) Redhill Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that entire length of Copley Close (D1255) Redhill. There is no alternative route for this closure. This Order is required to carry out new water connection works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between 8am and 4pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for vehicular traffic including residents and emergency services will be restricted within the working hours, however, road plates will be added out of hours. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24 hour period.

Waterhouse Lane (B2032) Kingswood Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Waterhouse Lane (B2032) Kingswood as extends from a point in line with the western boundary of the property known as “Woodcot” to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the property known as “Hornbeams”. Alternative Route: (B2032) Outwood Lane, (B2219) Lower Park Road, (B2219) Holly Lane, (B2219) Bolters Lane, (A2022) Bolters Lane, (A217) Brighton Road, (B2032) Bonsor Drive, and (B2032) Waterhouse Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate new water connection works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to maintain vehicular access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Various Roads in Mole Valley and Reigate and Banstead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate fine milling works and/or footway reconstruction works and/or resurfacing of carriageway and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 11 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises, including emergency service vehicle access, within the length of roads specified or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

1. the entire lengths of D2544 The Copse/Meadow Way, Fetcham. Alternative Route – D2521 The Glade, D2596 Kennel Lane, D2604 Spring Grove and D2558 Eastwick Drive; 2. that length of A24 By-Pass Road, Leatherhead which extends from its junction with Givons Grove Roundabout to its junction with Beaverbrook Roundabout. Alternative Route – A246 Young Street, A246 Leatherhead Road, A246 Guildford Road, A246 Epsom Road, A247 The Street, A247 Clandon Road, A3 Ripley By Pass/A3 Portsmouth Road, A245 Portsmouth Road, A245 Between Streets, A245 High Street, A245 Riverhill, A245 Stoke Road, A245 Woodlands Lane, C131 Oaklawn Road, A244 Oxshott Road, A243 By-Pass Road and A24 By-Pass Road; 3. that length of A25 High Street/Reigate Road, Dorking which extends from its junction with Deepdene Avenue to its junction with South Street. Alternative Route – A2003 Station Road, A2003 Chalkpit Lane, A2003 Ashcombe Road, A24 London Road and A24 Deepdene Avenue. For C253 London Road – traffic to follow main diversion joining A24 London Road. No access via Reigate Road end while the works are taking place; 4. the entire length of D2556 Downs Way, Bookham. Alternative Route – D2583 Hale Pit Road, D2546 Crabtree Lane and A246 Leatherhead Road; 5. that length of D2508 Cobham Road, Fetcham which extends from its junction with Guildford Road to its junction with Langaller Lane. Alternative Route – A245 Woodlands Lane, A245 Randalls Road, then via the oneway system: A245 Randalls Road/A245 Bulls Hill/A245 Station Road, B2122 Waterway Road and B2122 Guildford Road.

Schedule 2 (Reigate and Banstead)
1. the entire length of B284 Yew Tree Bottom Road, Epsom Downs. Access for buses may be affected. Alternative Route – A240 Reigate Road and B291 Fir Tree Road (using the one-way system from Reigate Road onto Yew Tree Bottom Road); 2. the entire length of D1168 Wood Street, Merstham. Alternative Route – C69 Bletchingley Road, D1168 Portland Drive and D1168 Malmstone Avenue; 3. the entire length of D1075 Hempshaw Avenue, Woodmansterne. The works will be carried out in sections as Hempshaw Avenue is a cul-de-sac. Traffic will be diverted via D1075 Prestbury Crescent; 4. the entire length of A240 Reigate Road, Burgh Heath/Epsom Downs. Alternative Route – A2022 Fir Tree Road and A217 Brighton Road; 5. that length of D356 Crossoak Lane, Salfords which extends from its junction with New House Lane to its junction with Orchard Drive. (a) that length of A217 Cockshot Hill, Reigate which extends from its junction with Dovers Green Road to a point 60m northwards; (b) that length of C223 Prices Lane, Reigate which extends from its junction with Dovers Green Road and to a point 80m westwards; (c) that length of D1300 Dovers Green Road which extends from its junction with A217 Cockshot Hill to a point 40m southwards; (d) that length of A2044 Woodhatch Road, Reigate which extends from its junction with Dovers Green Road to a point 20m eastwards. Warwick Wold Road (D388) Merstham and Pendell Road (C69) Bletchingley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Warwick Wold Road (D388) Merstham; (b) that length of Pendell Road (C69) Bletchingley as extends from its junction with (C69) Bletchingley Road to its junction with (D389 Big Common Lane and (D389) Sandy Lane. Alternative Route: (1) Hilltop Lane, (B2031) Rook Lane, (B2031) Dean Lane, (B2031) Alderstead Lane, (B2031) Shepherds Hill, (A23) London Road North, (A23) High Street, School Hill, and Bletchingley Road, or this route in reverse; (2) Little Common Lane, (A25) Castle Street, (A25) Bletchingley Road, (A25) High Street, (A25) Nutfield Road, (A25) Redstone Hill, (A23) Marketfield Way, (A23) Princess Way, (A23) London Road, (A23) London Road South, School Hill, and Blechingley Road, or this route in reverse. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Russ Hill (D323) Charlwood, Dorking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Russ Hill (D323) Charlwood, Dorking which extends from southern property boundary line of “No. 8 Russ Hill Cottages” to the southwestern property boundary line of “Edgemount”. Alternative Route – Partridge Lane (C60), Blanks Lane (C61) and Stan Hill (C61) or the same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Linden Gardens (D2545) Leatherhead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Linden Gardens (D2545) Leatherhead as extends from its junction with (D2545) St Johns Close to its junction with (X8064) Limes Close. This Order is required to facilitate sewer cover replacement works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 10am and 3pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.

Beech Farm Road (C78) Warlingham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Beech Farm Road (C78) Warlingham as extends from its junction with (C76) Fairchildes Lane and (C76) Hesiers Hill to its junction with (D451) Washpond Lane. Alternative Route: Hesier Hill, Beddlestead Lane, (B2024) Clarks Lane, (B269) Limpsfield Road, and Beech Farm Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate water connection works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Hollow Lane (C91) Dormansland Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Hollow Lane (C91) Dormansland as extends from its junction with (C90) High Street to its junction with (D412) Mutton Hill. Alternative Route: (1) High Street and New Farthingdale, or this route in reverse; (2) Mutton Hill, High Street, and New Farthingdale, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works will be carried out in 2 phases, and it is anticipated the works will be carried out over 4 months between the hours of 8am and 7pm, Monday to Friday, Saturdays between the hours of 8am and 4pm, and Sundays if required, within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for resident, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, via road plates, if necessary. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles will be required to follow the diversion routes.

Glovers Road (D324) and Russ Hill (D323) Charlwood Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles, equestrians and cyclists from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas mains replacement works during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 2 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians. Due to the nature of the works, access for emergency vehicles, equestrians and cyclists will not be maintained and will be required to follow the diversion route.

Schedule
1. the entire length of Glovers Road (D324) Charlwood. Works are anticipated to be carried out between 2 May 2024 and 5 July 2024, between 7am and 6pm. There is no alternative route available for this closure; and 2. that length of Russ Hill (D323) Charlwood which extends from its junction with Glovers Road to the southern property boundary line of the property known as “Robins Farm”. Works are anticipated to be carried out between 2 May 2024 and 22 July 2024, between 7am and 6pm. Alternative Route – Charlwood Lane, Partridge Lane, Blanks Lane, Stan Hill, Norwood Hill Road and Rectory Lane.

Various Roads in Tandridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.4) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate resurfacing of carriageway and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.

Alternative Route 1 – B270 Westhall Road , B270 Hillbury Road, A22 Godstone Road, A2022 Mitchley Avenue (Croydon), A2022 Rectory Park (Croydon), B269 Limpsfield Road (Croydon) and B269 Limpsfield Road; Alternative Route 2 – C228 Chelsham Road, C228 Sunnybank, C217 Farleigh Road, C217 Old Farleigh Road, C217 Old Farleigh Road (Croydon), Addington Road (Croydon), Selsdon Park Road (Croydon), C76 Featherbed Lane (Croydon), C76 Featherbed Lane, C76 Fairchildes Lane, C78 Beech Farm Road and B269 Limpsfield Road. 
2. that length of B2030 Coulsdon Road, Caterham which extends from its junction with Cromwell Road north-westwards to the boundary of the District of Tandridge and the London Borough of Croydon. Alternative Route – B2030 Coulsdon Road, B2030 Coulsdon Road (Croydon), A23 Brighton Road (Croydon), A23 Purley Road (Croydon), A22 Godstone Road (Croydon), A22 Godstone Road, B2208 Croydon Road, B2030 Station Avenue, B2030 Church Hill, B2030 Church Road, B2030 High Street, B2030 Town End and B2030 Banstead Road.

Bridge Street (D2885) Leatherhead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Bridge Street (D2885) Leatherhead; and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Bridge Street (D2885) Leatherhead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023” in its entirety; (c) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Bridge Street (D2885) Leatherhead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” in its entirety. Alternative Route: (1) North Street, Station Road, Waterway Road, and Guildford Road; (2) Guildford Road, Waterway Road, Station Road, Station Approach, Randalls Road, Bull Hill, and North Street. This Order is required to facilitate new gas mains connection works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 08 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Sheephouse Lane (D285) and Damphurst Lane (D285) Dorking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Sheephouse Lane (D285) Wotton as extends from its junction with (A25) Guildford Road to its junction with (D285) Damphurst Lane; (b) Damphurst Lane (D285) as extends from its junction with (D285) Sheephouse Lane (Wotton) to its junction with (D285) Sheephouse Lane (Abinger); (c) Sheephouse Lane (D285) Abinger as extends from its junction with (D285) Damphurst Lane to its junction with (D286) Broadmoor Road; (d) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in Mole Valley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2023” insofar as it affects the lengths of roads specified in this Notice. Alternative Route: (A25) Guildford Road, Hollow Lane, Abinger Lane, Leith Hill Road, and Sheephouse Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate highways improvements and/or maintenance works including but not limited to surface dressing and/or carriageway/footway resurfacing and/or major highway maintenance works by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, between the hours of 8am and 5pm within the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed; and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only. Vehicular access for residents and businesses will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion route.
