Albert Terrace, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Rail Works
What is happening?
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Albert Terrace, Saltaire Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of rail works proposed to be executed on or near Albert Terrace, Saltaire intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Albert Terrace from its junction with Fanny Street to its junction with George Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Albert Terrace (unaffected section), Fanny Street, Caroline Street, George Street and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on the 22nd April 2024 and remain in force until 07:00 hours on the 7th October 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
