Bury Street & Garden Lane - Temporary No Waiting At Any Time Order

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days the following Order Salford City Council (Bury Street and Garden Lane, Salford) (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time) Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Order applies to Bury Street - from the junction of Garden Lane to the Domis Construction Site Garden Lane - for its entire length. The Order is required as parking along both roads causes issues with access the Domis’ construction site.

Therefore, the current single yellow lines need replacing with double yellow lines to prevent the parked cars blocking access.

The Order is due to come into operation on the 10 May 2024 and will last for a period of 18 months. Notices will also be displayed at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm Copies of the documentation may be requested at phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or by writing to Fiona Ledden, City Solicitor PO BOX 532, Town Hall, Manchester M60 2LA quoting reference STG / SCC006/01179
