ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(WESTONING: PART OF FOOTPATH NO 9 AND TODDINGTON: FOOTPATH NO 36)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Order made by Central Bedfordshire Council on the 6 October 2023 the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the lengths of part of public:
I. Footpath No 9, Westoning which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0176 3126 to OS GR TL 0184 3139 and
II. Footpath No 36, Toddington which extends from OS GR TL 0133 3083 to OS GR TL 0176 3126
has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 12 October 2024.
These temporary closures are required to enable bridge replacement works. The closures are expected to take place from 13 April 2024 for up to six months.
There is no alternative route for footpath users while the closure is in operation.

The Order will continue in force until 12 October 2024 or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(HAYNES: BRIDLEWAY NO 17)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Central Bedfordshire Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle along the length of public Bridleway No 17, Haynes which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 1018 4124 to OS GR TL 1014 4153.
This temporary closure is required to make safe the brick culvert on which part of the bridleway runs. The closure is expected to be in place from 18 April 2024 for up to six months.
The alternative route for bridleway users while the closure is in operation will be:
From OS GR TL 1018 4124 proceed in a generally westerly direction along Standalone Warren (UC130) to OS GR TL 0972 4137 and then northerly along Silver End Road and Plummers Lane to Bridleway No 7, Haynes at OS GR TL 0974 4142 then continue in a north easterly direction towards OS GR TL 1014 4153 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 18 April 2024 for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out on or near to the bridleway have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(CHURCH ROAD, FLITWICK)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Church Road, Flitwick approximately 335 metres southwest of Manor Way.
This temporary closure is required to enable connection repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 29 April to 1 May 2024. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Temple Way, A5120, C107, Steppingley Road, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 29 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Lower Shelton Road, Marston Moreteyne between Beancroft Road and outside number 45.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 29 April 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Beancroft Road, Bedford Road, Lower Shelton Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 29 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Newlands Road, Westoning.
This temporary closure is required to enable asphalt patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 25 to 26 April 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
The Order will come into operation on 25 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Wood Lane, Aspley Guise between number 25 and Woodlands.
This temporary closure is required to enable service connection works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 15 to 17 April 2024. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Woodside, West Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 15 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 15 April 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The roads will be closed at all times during this period.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the lengths of Brookes Road, Flitwick outside Budgens and Millfield Close, Flitwick approximately 100 metres southeast of Station Road and the full lengths of Fir Tree Close and Billington Close, Flitwick.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place as follows:
On Brookes Road and Millfield Close on 16 April 2024 and on Fir Tree Close and Billington Close on 17 April 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The roads will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for the closure of Brookes Road is via Greenways. There are no alternative routes for the closures of Millfield Close, Fir Tree Close and Billington Close. Access will be maintained for residents.
The Order will come into operation on 16 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
