U6104 ACKLINGTON PRISON TO BROOMHILL ACKLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6104 Acklington Prison to Broomhill Acklington for its entire length of 1,200 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd May 2024 until the 31st October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 7th May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C107, B6345, B1330 and vice - versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for surface dressing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
