TO NORHAM B6470 WEST STREET NORHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in the County of Northumberland.
B6470 West Street from its junction with Castle Street heading southwards for a distance of 75 metres.
B6470 Salutation Pub Junction To Norham from its junction with West Street heading southwards for a distance of 1260 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd May 2024 until the 31st October 2024.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed on the 3rd May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C1, A698 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for pre-surface dressing, patching and civils works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
