What is happening?

LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(U715 CARR HOUSE LANE, WRIGHTINGTON, WEST LANCASHIRE BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any class of traffic to proceed over that length of U715 Carr House Lane, Wrightington from U718 Chisnall Lane, Heskin to B5250 Wood Lane, Wrightington.
2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0000 hours on Tuesday 9th April 2024 until 2359 hours on Monday 15th April 2024 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. A diversion will be signed locally.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow emergency culvert repair works to be carried out by Lancashire County Council.
