What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WIRKSWORTH ROAD/ BROADWAY, DUFFIELD
WHEN:15 April to 19 April 2024 (08:00 to 17:00)
WHERE: Wirksworth Road/ Broadway Duffield between its Jct. with A6, Derby Road and its Jct. with Nether Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching prior to surface dressing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Unnamed road comprising section of B5023 from Idridgehay to Ashleyhay, Derby Road, Millers Green, Warmbrook, St John Street, Harrison Drive, Cromford Road, Steeple Grange, The Hill, Market Place, Matlock Road, West Bank, Bridge
Street, Chapel Street, New Road, Hopping Hill, The Bridge, Milford Road, Town Street, Broadway, Wirksworth Road, Chase Road, Rood Lane, Johnson Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
