(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Hepple Public Footpath Number 29, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Parish of Hepple Public Footpath Number 29
From the B6314 road 630 metres west of Midgy Ha in a general southerly direction for a distance of 230 metres, crossing the Grasslees Burn, via a footbridge, to a point 670 metres south-west of Midgy Ha on the south side of the Grasslees Burn.
The footpath to the south of the footbridge, within the access land and to Darden Lough remains available if accessed from alternative routes.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th April 2024 until the 29th October 2024.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland National Park Authority in the interests of public safety to facilitate works to replace the footbridge over the Grasslees Burn.
