What is happening?

(Temporary Road and Footpath Closure)
Order 2024

The Council on 5/4/2024 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular and pedestrian traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of road and footpath Road Closure (closed to vehicular traffic) Burns Terrace/Moore Terrace a 73 metre length from the front of Number 32 Byron Terrace to the side Number 8. Byron Terrace/Carlyle Crescent a 133 metre length from the front of Numbers 1 to 16 Byron Terrace. Milton Grove an 11 metre length from the front of Numbers 1 and 2, a 12 metre length to the front of Number 15. Footpath Closure (closed to pedestrian traffic) Milton Grove a 29 metre length to the side of Number 42, a 55 metre length to the front of Numbers 36-43, a 43 metre length to the rear of Numbers 28 to 31 and side of Number 33, a 47 metre length to the rear of Numbers 21 to 34 and an 11 metre length to the rear of Numbers 12 to 13 to enable Virgin Media telecom infrastructure works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, alternative routes, where available, will be signposted on site. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence at 8am on 15/4/2024 and are anticipated to be completed in 15 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
